Return To Flight: STS-114

Today marks the shuttle's first return to space since the Columbia break-up over two years ago. I know that space travel has unfortunately lost its allure over the past decade, but there was a time when you couldn't not watch a shuttle launch.

While I feel that the use and practicality of the shuttle has come and gone, I know not to be complacent with the fact that we are able to send people into orbit. There will always be a risk.
