Camp Casey: The Tour!

Cindy Sheehan is taking her show on the road, and she's coming to a town near you! Starting Wednesday, people throughout the country who haven't been able to get to Crawford, TX to see the spectacle first hand will get their chance. Although a definitive tour schedule has yet to be announced, it is thought that the first stop of this whirlwind tour will be in Tom DeLay's district of southeast Texas.

Critics say that this is a highly unusual step noting that most gaudy productions normally make their rounds through Off-Broadway and Broadway productions before touring. However, with Democratic heavy-hitters Al Sharpton and Martin Sheen recently visiting the protest, sources close to Sheehan say that she feels "the time is right."

One critic who got a sneak peak at the touring production of Camp Casey: The Tour! had a less than stellar review. "It's like Les Mis, only not as funny." He added that Barbara Streisand's (who plays Cindy Sheehan) retooled version of Memory was reminscent of a "satchel of cats in heat slowly passing through a meat-grinder."

Tickets for the show can be purchased through TicketMaster.
