Worst. Assassins. Ever.

Saddam's wondering, "Where's the crime?" in ordering the trial and subsequent executions of 148 Shiites suspected of attempting to assassinate him.

148 people, some as young as 11 years old. All out to get one man.

I'm not great with math, but one would think the odds of success would be in the assassins' favor, no? I mean, we're talkin' a serious breakdown in communications to not be able to pull this one off.

So what happened? I'm guessing some probably overslept. Maybe got their dates mixed up. Some of the kids were possibly too busy flying kites for Michael Moore's cameramen. Overturned camel on the beltway causing minor delays. Any number of possibilities really.

Saddam was right to nip this one in the bud.... Totally.
