An Argument For A "Parent License"

In order to drive legally, you have to pass a test. You have to know what a red light means. You have to know how to set your emergency brake. You have to be in possession of a marginally adequate understanding of how to parallel park your vehicle.

Parenting is different. It's anybody's game. One would think, however... that it's pretty much assumed that you don't give your three-month old vodka.

Maybe that's just me though.
