Who's The 'Fool' Now McKinney?

Cynthia "Strong-'N-Proud" McKinney is black (oops!) in the news, this time for calling one of her aides a "fool" on tape. Were it not for her previous altercation last month, there's really no reason for this incident to be making headlines. But it's a general rule of thumb that once you strike a police officer, people tend to pay closer attention to you.

Again, not really newsworthy (or blogworthy for that matter) except for how she tried to cover her ass when she realized the mic was still on.

McKinney apparently realized her blunder and told the reporter that the comments about her communications director, Coz Carson, were off the record.

The obvious bullying of the media in telling them what they can and cannot use is laughable and speaks to the severe lack of accountability of this woman. None of this, even "the incident", would be all over the media had she just 'fessed up and apologized like any normal, rational person would've done after making a mistake.

Her strong-'n-proudness will see her right out of office.
